Haglöfs is the progressive outdoor performance brand from Sweden. Since 1914, we've been drawing outside the lines, thinking outside the box, and living outside our comfort zones. Join us on our quest to encourage exploration – both physically and mentally – by embracing the outdoors.

Haglöfs is on an exciting growth journey, and we're looking for a Senior Product Manager Apparel to join our Category team. This is an opportunity for an experienced product leader with a passion for understanding consumers, a strong commercial drive and a strategic mindset to shape the future of one of Scandinavia's most iconic outdoor brands.

You will own our apparel categories from strategy to execution, identifying new opportunities and turning consumer insights into commercially successful assortments. Success in this role comes from your ability to inspire, influence and create alignment across functions, bringing people together around a shared direction. Working closely across Design, Development, Materials, Marketing, Sales and Buying, you'll lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver value for both consumers and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to shaping the apparel category strategy with the Head of Category and own its execution.
  • Own the voice-of-consumer input into seasonal briefs, ensuring product decisions trace back to a specific consumer need or occasion of use.
  • Own and maintain direct channels to the end consumer through field testing, ambassador feedback loops, retailer/DTC data and consumer research to ground category decisions in lived product experience and historical sales data.
  • Own seasonal new product development from brief to delivery, holding cross-functional partners accountable to functional performance, business and quality standards throughout the process.
  • Ensure product excellence for the intended purpose, price point and brand positioning, ensuring every product meets its intended purpose and contributes to a commercially successful assortment that strengthens the brand.
  • Translate consumer insights, market trends and commercial opportunities into assortments and products that strengthen brand positioning while delivering commercial success.
  • Drive product innovation by identifying future consumer needs and transforming them into category growth.
  • Optimize category performance through seasonal range planning, assortment architecture, pricing, margin management and product mix, ensuring alignment with category strategy and brand positioning.
  • Ensure successful Go-To-Market execution together with key internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor sales, product performance and competitor activity to identify opportunities and continuously improve category performance
  • Own product data and seasonal information in Centric PLM, assortment overviews and related tools, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely updates throughout the product creation process.

Skills & Requirements

  • Extensive experience within Product Management, Buying or Category Management.
  • A proven track record of developing successful and innovative assortments for international consumer brands.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance consumer needs, brand positioning and commercial performance.
  • Comfortable operating with uncertainty, structuring a way forward in fast-moving or undefined situations without waiting for perfect information.
  • Experience or strong working familiarity with our target activities, and the ability to translate activity-specific demands (weight, layering, weather exposure and movement) into product requirements.
  • This role requires travel for several weeks each year for supplier visits, product testing, trade shows and sales meetings.
  • Excellent understanding of product development, assortment strategy and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence using data to support decision making and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and influencing multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working across both Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Wholesale channels is considered an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Who you are

  • You are energized by identifying new opportunities and turning consumer insights into value and excitement for consumers, the brand and the business.
  • You naturally combine vision with strategic thinking, always looking ahead and staying curious about what's next - identifying emerging consumer needs, outdoor and sports trends, and translating them into future product opportunities.
  • You naturally build strong relationships, create momentum and enjoy bringing people together around common goals and ideas. You're comfortable making decisions, taking ownership and navigating complexity while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
  • Most importantly, you're driven by building categories through exceptional products that strengthen the Haglöfs brand, reinforce its positioning and deliver commercial success.

You'll thrive in this role if you...

  • Are passionate about understanding consumers and market trends.
  • Are constantly looking for opportunities to improve the business.
  • Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Use data to make confident decisions without losing creativity.
  • Build trust and influence across teams.
  • Balance brand ambition with commercial performance.
  • Create clarity, inspire others and keep momentum through complex challenges
