ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be an integral part of the API Team, enabling customers to access Tele2 services via APIs from various frontend channels. Our mission is to deliver an exceptional experience for both consumer and business customers by providing the necessary data they need. We offer services that allow data to be consumed by other applications and systems, managing these services from start to finish. Our team operates within the Microsoft stack, fostering a culture where teamwork and inclusion are paramount.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
· Developing and maintaining APIs built in .Net
· Managing and maintaining Azure API Management
· Overseeing the internal developer portal Backstage
· Communicating and supporting numerous stakeholders as a central component
· Providing specialist support across the organization for API management
· Sharing your expertise with the team and learning new skills from others
· Adhering to patterns that promote robust services and continuously improving the team’s capabilities
What we look for:
We are a collaborative team that works closely with other backend and frontend teams to coordinate our efforts. Maintaining strong relationships with architects and being able to navigate unclear information to create our own requirements is crucial.
To be successful in this role and a good fit for our team, you should have a strong ambition to develop new functionalities while managing and maintaining existing solutions.
To thrive in this role, we believe that you have:
· At least some years of experience in API development using .Net
· Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
· Knowledge of Docker, deploy pipelines, and Kubernetes terminology
· Some experience with JavaScript/React for working with Backstage
· Basic knowledge of security concepts (encryption with keys, SSL/TLS, HTTPS)
