Skanska A/S, part of Skanska CDN - Commercial Development Nordic, is looking to hire a Finance Manager to join the company in exciting times of growth. The Finance Manager will report directly to the Managing Director of Skanska A/S and have a close collaboration with the Nordic Management Team as well as the Skanska CDN CFO.

Your key responsibilities

  • To lead and develop the finance function (4 people) and ensure the business benefits financially to the overall business goals.
  • Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting of consolidated accounts.
  • Preparation of financial analysis and decision-making basis for the purchase and sale of properties and investments.
  • Administration of subsidiaries and joint taxation in the Danish part of the group.
  • Responsible for IT, systems, internal service etc.
  • Subsidiary and project companies, joint taxation etc.
  • Property management (administrative), office and housing in collaboration with an external administrator, is a significant part of the role.
  • Part of and an active participant in the management team of Skanska A/S.
  • Co-piloting with local Managing Director and giving financial guidance on large building projects.
  • Overall responsible for controlling and analysis.
  • Responsible for planning the budget and forecasts.
  • Experience in investment and divestment cases.
  • Participation in property valuations and transactions.
  • Manage income tax and VAT issues.
  • Manage contacts with auditors.
  • Manage various bonus agreements related to SEOP – Skanska Employee Ownership Program etc.
  • Manage bank guarantees and other collaterals in cooperation with Skanska Financial Services.

About you & your professional background

  • MSc Finance & Economics, HD Accounting or equivalent
  • +5 years of experience from a finance function
  • Experience from real estate / building sector and preferably knowledge of tax and VAT relating to this sector.
  • Knowledge of group accounting and international accounting standards
  • Experience from a similar position, preferably from the industry
  • Speaks and writes Danish and English and has a good understanding of one of the Nordic languages.
