Candidate Privacy Policy
If you apply for a job or get in touch with any employer through Jobylons service, your personal data will be registered with and processed by POC, the employer looking to fill the vacancy advertised. The purpose of this processing is to enable the employer to manage the recruitment process and evaluate your application.
Only data necessary for recruitment purposes may be processed, such as contact details and records used to assess your suitability for a role.

The Employer as Controller
The employer whose job you apply for is the data controller and is responsible for your personal data. Jobylon processes personal data on the employer's behalf as a data processor, providing the recruitment tool through which your information is collected.
The employer is committed to not disclosing your data to unauthorized third parties. Your data may, however, be shared with relevant data processors where necessary to carry out the recruitment process.

Collection of Data
Most data processed is provided by you directly. In some cases, information may be gathered from publicly available sources. All data collected is used solely for recruitment purposes, including statistical analyses (such as demographic breakdowns of applicants) conducted only in aggregated, non-identifiable form.
Your application data may be considered for other open positions with the same employer.

Processing of Data
Your personal data is processed through standard recruitment steps: collection, storage, evaluation, communication, and deletion. This processing is necessary to facilitate the recruitment process and is carried out on the basis of the employer's legitimate interests in recruiting suitable candidates, taking steps prior to entering into an employment relationship where applicable, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent where required by applicable law.

Data Retention
Your application will be stored for no longer than one year after the position has been filled or the recruitment process has concluded. After this period, your data will be deleted unless you have given explicit consent for it to be retained longer (for example, to be considered for future roles).

Your Rights

You are in charge of your data and always have the right to:

1. Access your data
2. Correct inaccurate information
3. Request erasure or restriction of your data
4. Receive information on the source we use to collect your data (when data is not provided by you)
5. Move your data to another service (data portability)
6. Complain to responsible authorities

You always have the right to correct or ask us to correct any inaccurate data about you.

The right to request erasure or restriction of your data
You have the right to have us erase or restrict the use of your data that is no longer needed for the purposes we collected the data. You also have a right to object to any processing you find unlawful or unnecessary for the informed purposes.

The right to information on the source of data we collect
You have a right to get information on the source of information that is not provided by you and about automated decision-making, such as profiling.

The right to data portability
When technically possible, you have the right to get your data transferred to another service.

The right to make a complaint
If you are unhappy with the way we protect your data, you have the right, at any time, to file a complaint to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (imy@imy.se) or the competent supervisory authority in your country of residence.
