We would like to inform you that the protection of your personal data is very important to Dometic and we process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and other relevant data protection legislation.

• The lawful basis for processing your application is our legitimate interest to recruit staff. 
• If you wish us to retain your application and CV for future EMEA wide vacancies, we will require your consent to do so – by checking the box “I confirm that I have read the Privacy Policy”
• If you consent, we will email you every 2 years to confirm you still consent to us holding your information. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by emailing dataprotection@dometic.com.
• If you do not consent, we will delete your personal information on completion of the application process unless we have a legal requirement to store personal data related to your application, such as legislation pertaining to fair recruitment practices. In such situations, we will only keep the data needed to comply and only for as long as that legal requirement demands it.

Personal data collected and recipients of the personal data:

• Dometic will collect personal data necessary for assessing the suitability of a candidate for the job being advertised which will include name, contact details, work history, educational qualifications and other personal information you provide us with through your CV. During the recruitment process other personal data – such as notes from interviews, results from personality tests and references might also be processed.
• The processing of applications is exclusively undertaken by the local Dometic HR department though it may be shared with the relevant internal stakeholders such as hiring manager, direct reporting line and/or the works council. Your data will only be transferred to internal contacts when it is necessary for the application process.
• If you consent to us retaining your CV for future jobs within Dometic, your data will be shared with hiring managers of Dometic within the EU.

Location of processing:

• Personal data relating to applications will only be processed within the EU.

Your rights:

• You have the right at any time to request a copy of what personal data we hold on you.
• You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent to us processing your data.
• You have the right at any time to request us to delete your data.
• You have the right to object to the processing at any time.
• You can ask us to correct your personal data if it is no longer correct at any time.
• You can request us to restrict the processing of your personal data at any time.
• You can request a copy of your data in portable format at any time.
• You have a right to complain to a supervisory authority about Dometic’s processing of your personal data.  You may complain to your national Supervisory Authority or to Dometic’s Supervisory Authority which is the Swedish authority, IMY.
