Job Description

We are looking for two Technical Business Analysts to join our Service Delivery team based within Gard’s Technology department in Arendal.

The group within Service Delivery dedicated to technical operations and maintenance of our core systems is looking for a new team member. The group is focusing on our insurance and ERP systems and our new colleague will grow into a role as a technical expert on our core IT systems.

We also have a vacancy in the team managing our CRM system, Salesforce. The system also serves as platform for our customer portal and is under rapid and heavy development. In this role you can expect to work on day-to-day management and development while also contributing to the project team working with our customer-facing solutions.

Gard’s Service Delivery team provides management, maintenance, and development of our core software portfolio. The Technology department has an international working environment with friendly colleagues and a strong company culture with an emphasis on competence development.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow up and handle error logs and general system health
  • Handle support cases together with Helpdesk, superusers, and vendors
  • Assist in articulating business requirements
  • Plan and prioritize further development
  • Plan integrations together with our developers and architects
  • Make sure planned changes fit within our IT landscape and enterprise architecture
  • Make sure the system complies with regulatory requirements
  • Plan and execute releases
  • Plan and follow up on budget for development and licenses
  • Contribute with ideas on how to improve or automate processes
  • Over time contribute to a wider range of our application portfolio

Skills & Requirements

Key competencies

  • IT background, e.g. from DevOps or development
  • For the role in technical operations and maintenance, experience with Linux and/or Windows Server management
  • For the role in CRM management, experience with Salesforce development or administration

Personal skills

  • Good communication skills towards both end users and IT resources
  • Solid English skills
  • Strong problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand complex business processes
