At Clio we develop educational technology to make students all over the world learn more, and such an undertaking requires world-class marketing. That's why we're looking for a content specialist with as quirky and digital a mind as possible to join our colorful marketing and communication team in Copenhagen, with a particular view to helping us with marketing on the Swedish market.

You will report to our Head of Brand & Engagement as part of an ambitious and fun (if you ask us) international team based in Copenhagen, where we're always quick to put our ideas into action.

What will you be doing?

As our new colleague you'll be working with the Danish, Swedish and international markets, and you'll be responsible for developing and planning communication campaigns, writing copy and developing creatives to increase awareness of Clio in the school world.

You'll be working with your closest colleagues to coordinate and develop content for marketing automation, social media, websites, blogs and newsletters for a Swedish audience. You'll also be contributing to other activities in the department, such as events, trade fairs and mail automation as well as PR and public affairs related to online and offline advertising. You'll be working with lots of different types of tasks, and your potential for development is practically infinite as long as you have the ambition.

Skills & Requirements

Your future colleagues are specialists in all fields of communication and marketing. They're ready to welcome you with open arms if you match the following six criteria:

  • You have a digital mindset: You won't hide under your desk when we talk about Google AdWords, Google Analytics, marketing automation (we use Marketo), Facebook advertising and HTML. In fact, we hope you have experience with these things and are willing to take charge with new ideas.
  • You're a creative magician: You feel at home with the Adobe software suite, and you're unstoppable when it comes to putting together videos that will make everyone stop scrolling through their feed, and printed ads that are so enticing that they'll be printed out and pinned to the fridge at home.
  • You can express yourself correctly and engagingly: We produce a lot of content and take language and tone seriously. You can make words come off the page, and you're full of ideas for how to create content for social media, websites and newsletter that engages and converts.
  • You have experience and commercial understanding: You have an education in marketing and communication and have already found your feet in your first job in digital marketing. You recognize the value of data, thrive in a result-oriented environment and are not afraid of commercial terms such as KPI and ROMI.
  • You've got an ear for language: You'll be working with Danish, Swedish and English, so you have to be fluent in English and Swedish in both speech and writing, and you must be able to work with Danish text that has to be adapted or translated for another market.
  • You have a bright mind and an informal attitude: You won't be joining a department where people yawn their way through the day while staring longingly at the clock. The pace is fast, the tasks are varied, and we spar a lot with each other.

You'll be working at our head office in Copenhagen. We have a flat company structure where you're always welcome to knock on the CEO's door to discuss your latest great idea. Our in-house chef serves lunch every day at noon, and you'll have access to unlimited free soda and other beverages.
