We are looking for a producer to join us on our journey here at Albert. Someone who can be the glue, holding our brand and products together, and be the operative leader of our biggest product Albert Junior.

You will work with the Head of Product and Creative director to translate the product vision, strategies and concepts into more detailed roadmaps and plans for the Albert Junior teams (i.e. the WHAT), and work with the teams to ensure they make sense and can be realized. One key is to ensure the same experience across all modules/subjects in Albert Junior.
The Producer will be the day-to-day leader of the Junior product teams (artists, animators, designers, developers, pedagogs) to drive the HOW. This means helping the teams in planning what to do, setting priorities, removing impediments and facilitating decisions to enable the teams to work efficiently and effectively. The person will drive the development process and ensure deliveries according to time, quality and allocated resources.
You will alway strive for commercial success of the product. To do this, you must ensure that the product continuously creates value for our customers and fits into the subscription business model. You need to work with colleagues in product strategy, tech, user insights, marketing, customer care, and finance to ensure this.
The Albert Junior product combines education, storytelling and game thinking into a fun learning experience , so the Producer must be able to get these perspectives together, including the roles and processes needed to deliver on them. The product has its base in education and storytelling; going forward, the product should include more elements from game thinking, so we want the Producer to have experience from game development to bring that perspective. Having that said, though, it is important for the person to understand both agile service development and game development processes, in order to create Albert’s way of working.
You have a genuine interest in creating a product that our users love and learn from. This means you are customer centric (children, parents, teachers) and work with qualitative and quantitative insights to support the product development. You also strongly believe in pedagogy and want to make learning and pedagogy the core of the products and exercises.
You have experience in leading app and game development. You understand the different phases of the development process and how different roles contribute. By doing this you understand key success factors and can guide and coach the teams throughout the process.
You have excellent leadership and communication skills. You should be able to daily lead, inspire and coach 3-5 sub-teams which consist of people with diverse roles, competences and backgrounds. To do this we believe you are strong in situation based leadership to handle different situations, e.g. coach when possible and sell/tell when needed. You must be an excellent communicator and be business fluent in English (written and spoken).
You are structured and organized. You can understand abstract concepts and translate them into concrete roadmaps and plans that make sense to the teams.
You are a results oriented executor. You get motivated by setting targets and work hard with the team to reach them.
You can balance stability and flexibility. You should be able to create stability for the teams by sticking to long term plans, but always balance this toward quickly adapting to the dynamic scaleup environment the company is in.
For this role we would like you to be around Gothenburg or be able to commute on a regular basis.
