The Customer Services organization includes the Professional Services and Customer Support functions, and is made up of more than 550 Basware experts globally.

Professional Services, made up of Project Managers, Solution Architects, Solution and Technical Consultants and Success Services professionals, deliver customer implementation projects and provide services that help Basware customers adopt, optimize and accelerate the benefits of their Basware solutions and services. Customer Support provides professional help to our customers to manage operational and service issues that arise from using our services.

Central Network Services drives and contributes to delivering cloud-based solutions and highly quality e-invoicing and procurement products. Within this global team, the Change Request consultants act as post go-live delivery and subject matter experts towards our customers and internal stakeholders.

We are now looking for a (Senior) Technical Consultant

  • Leading the post go-live Network product requests by translating technical requirements to clear deliverables.
  • Providing a high-quality, efficient and successful implementation of allocated change requests.
  • Being a trusted advisor and Network delivery subject matter expert during implementation phase in accordance with the CR delivery lifecycle and quality guidelines.
  • Learning, mastering and understanding the Basware services and platforms from a technical point of view.

  • Obtaining and ensuring customer engagement via effective communication and a proactive delivery approach.

  • Cooperating with internal stakeholders such as other delivery units, R&D, Product Management, etc. to assure timely and correct post go-live deliveries.

  • Managing your own queue in the most efficient way in order to meet given deadlines.
  • When required, delivering customer training and advising customers on how to use our solution in an effective way.
  • Participating in continuous delivery excellence and process improvements.

  • Addressing technical queries, both during and occasionally after hyper care period.

Skills & Requirements


  • IT / Computer Science Bachelor or Master degree.
  • +2 years of relevant experience in technical project delivery.

  • Knowledge of software development and delivery experience with the implementation of software products.

  • Ability to take on both a technical consulting and coordinating role while displaying strong analytical and consulting skills.
  • Basic XML, XSLT and XSL-fo experience/understanding.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and e-invoicing solutions is preferred while experience with OCR and scanning solutions is considered a clear advantage.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

  • Highly collaborative approach and skilled in working in a matrix environment with global distributed teams.

  • Quick learner with the correct hands-on attitude and a self-driven challenger, looking for continuous development and adding value to our processes.
