As Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of one of Mentimeter’s largest departments; its talent acquisition efforts and team. In close partnership with department leads and hiring managers, and with your team, you will develop and drive initiatives that increase awareness of Mentimeter as an extraordinary workplace. As an advisor and leader, you will play a vital role in making sure Mentimeter continues to be a great place to work, by helping us to recruit people who thrive in an inclusive, fun, collaborative and challenging company culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic and project management work to make sure we attract, evaluate and hire according to our goals and have an efficient and successful recruitment process and a compassionate candidate experience
  • Long term organization (18 months) and resource planning with department leads
  • Lead your department's talent acquisition efforts as team-lead, including goal setting and prioritization, resource allocation and planning of team tasks and projects
  • Hands on recruiting; building relationships and recruitment pipelines for senior and management roles
  • Be an external spokesperson for our culture and Mentimeter as a workplace.
  • Build awareness of Mentimeter as a workplace through different channels and partnerships*

*Do we mean Employer Branding? Yes. And no. For us, it is vital to never invent initiatives with the purpose to “brand” our workplace or our colleagues. Instead, we focus onbeing culture driven and doing great stuff, and that is a collaborative effort led by our VP People. However, we also need to make sure we also communicate what we do, and act on interesting requests from journalists, summits and partners. And, we want to up our events and partnerships to help great people find Mentimeter. The department specific area of this work will be under your responsibilities.

Skills & Requirements

  • 8+ years of total professional experience of which 3+ years of managerial and leadership experience in a high-pace recruiting environment, preferably within the startup/tech/SaaS industry
  • Experience working with implementing talent acquisition strategies, processes and tools in a values driven context
  • Have a proven track record leading and developing teams as well as individuals; creating a high performing, engaging and long term sustainable culture. An ability to listen to, inspire and empower your team
  • You have been recruiting for different kinds of roles, up to executive level
  • You have knowledge and passion for inclusion, equality and diversity
  • You have financial and business acumen and negotiation skills
  • You can demonstrate project management and stakeholder management skills
  • You possess the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, working closely with senior leaders regularly
  • Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication/presentation skills. You don’t have to know Swedish (we are an English-first organisation; the Mentimeter team currently boasts over 40 different nationalities so the everyday work is in English).

You will also be part of our growing cross-department Talent Acquisition team that, when you start, will consist of 9 members. In this role, you will work closely with our TA Director, which you also will report to. The location of the position is our Stockholm HQ.
