As embedded system developer at Nilsson Energy, you will join our development group and work with our control software RECA (Renewable Energy Control Application) which is a central part of RE8760 system. The control software includes communication (e.g., Modbus/CAN, OPC UA, analogue and electrical signals) with a large set of different hardware components (e.g., batteries, PV, electrolysers, fuel cells, compressors, inverters, alarms, sensors, and detectors). The software also includes steering the hardware, implementing optimization algorithms, data collection and data communication to databases.
As an Embedded Software Developer, you will design, code, review, test and document the continuous development of RECA. We welcome applicants with a broad technical background and basic understanding of renewable energy systems.
You will work under our HRD and have a key role within the development of RECA. Depending on your previous experience level you will have the opportunity to be part of building our software development team as we are expecting to grow the team further. You will join Nilsson Energy at an early stage in our journey and at a time when we are in the middle of developing new and exciting hydrogen-based products aimed to reduce our society’s dependency on fossil fuels. You will get the chance to directly impact our software development projects and give support/input when IT related strategical decisions will be made.
We expect you to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field together with 6+ years of relevant work experience. You are innovative, open to new ideas and like to share your knowledge. We expect you to be self-driven, meticulous and delivery focused.
