Now we are aiming to strengthen our fast-growing Insights & Data team with a (Senior) Data Analyst providing visualization and insights from data!

Job summary

With the ambition of our rapidly growing team, we are looking for a (Senior) Data Analyst to join us and act as a bridge between business requirements and creation of real business value and insights from data. As a member of our Insights & Data practice, you will be part of a global network of data experts and work to create illustrative data visualizations for business and end-users of data insights.

Your role as a (Senior) Data Analyst includes gathering analytics requirements and business views from different stakeholders, conducting workshops to accelerate the development of data-driven culture and visualize the data to provide insights and real business value with cutting edge BI-tools. We value both orientations that you might have. On the one hand, you might have a technical approach to data analysis, understanding well the features and capabilities of modern BI tools. On the other hand, you might embody more of a business approach where you are the expert in interpreting business requirements and turning them into insights. Whichever is closer to your core, we expect you to be motivated to learn and grow every day. You may be an experienced person already working in a lead/senior role or you could be a young professional who has just started gaining experience from real-life client projects.

To succeed in this role, you should ideally have:

  • Excellent consultation skills and the ability to interpret and transform business needs into technical/analytical solutions, challenging different stakeholders and proposing alternative solutions, when needed
  • Experience from gathering business requirements and facilitating workshops with different types of stakeholders
  • Experience in SQL
  • Experience with some of the major BI-tools as a user or a developer (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik Sense etc.)
  • Understanding of the features and possibilities modern data visualization tools offer and the ability to make use of them for creating business value
  • Solid data visualization and design skills
  • Agile ways of working and prior experience with design-thinking

About you

  • Passionate for learning - always exploring and developing your expertise
  • Team player and a natural leader of technical teams
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or another relevant field
  • Fluent communication and presentations skills in Finnish and/or English, Finnish is NOT mandatory
  • Ability to work independently with customers (previous consulting experience is considered a plus)
