About the role:

As a Talent Acquisition Partner , you will play a vital role in making sure we have the right people on board at the right time. You will recruit a variety of roles and seniority levels within sales, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our hiring teams; enabling them to act proactively and deliver on our specific recruitment needs

  • Take ownership of the recruitment process for each candidate, from the first contact and through the interview stages, ensure all candidates get feedback and an extraordinary candidate experience

  • Contact candidates (both headhunt and contact people who applied) and ensure they fall in love with the role and the opportunity to join Mentimeter

  • Represent our core values and culture when in contact with candidates

  • Hands-on recruitment tasks including:

    • Publish and market job ads

    • Support in ensuring a good candidate pipeline (e.g. by headhunting)

    • Screen candidates

    • Conduct introduction interviews

    • Coordinate and book interviews for hiring teams

  • Build awareness for Mentimeter as a workplace through different channels and partnerships.

Skills & Requirements

To thrive in this role we believe you are curious about people and organisations - and that you find joy in helping them grow. You want to continue to expand your skills within recruitment and , you like managing projects and enjoy finding new ways of creating and retaining a pipeline of candidates.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience working with recruitment; either as a recruiter or as a part of a hiring team, preferably within sales.

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role and excellent written and verbal communication skills - in this role you will be interacting with internal stakeholders and candidates on a daily basis.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment; preferably you've been part of a start-up journey and scaling from <20 to 50+ employees.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Knowledge and passion for inclusion, equality and diversity.

  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

  • Permanent residency and/or eligible to work in Toronto, Canada

It's a bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with sales recruitment

  • Experience working with headhunting

You will be part of our growing catalyst team and you will be the first full time Talent Acquisition Partner in the team. To support you we have team members who have large experience of recruitment within the Mentimeter framework as well as a Talent Acquisition team in Stockholm to draw inspiration from for developing processes and share learnings.
