Service Delivery Coordinator

Right now, we are looking for a Service / Roaming Delivery Coordinator to Telia Carrier, Operator Delivery, EMEA Team 2. I am Andreas Gebauer and I am leading Operator Delivery. We are a great bunch of people, and I am super proud of every member of our team.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE?

You will be responsible for customer deliveries end-to-end, i.e. communication to customers, suppliers and internal units, support system registrations, delivery escalations. You will also be involved when it comes to making process and system improvements; and encouraged to make recommendations.

What is Service Delivery? Service delivery is a component of business that defines the interaction between providers and clients where the provider offers a service, whether that be information or a task, and the client either finds value or loses value as a result. Good service delivery provides clients with an increase in value.

What is Operator? This refers a segment of Telia Carrier customers, who are traditionally not solely content/IP focused, such telecommunications’ carriers, mobile providers, multinational corporations (MNCs) and in some cases some small to medium enterprises (SMEs)

Service Delivery team mission statement is: To be the dedicated engine responsible for delivering all network related orders across multiple product portfolios/technologies whilst securing customer experience by providing concise communication throughout the delivery cycle aligned to measurable and visible lead times to ensure that we deliver right first time - every time.

The generic role of the Service Delivery Coordinator – Operator EMEA T2; reporting to the Manager of Operator Delivery; you will work as part of Telia Carrier Service Delivery & Network Procurement unit, being the coordinating interface during the delivery of customer services. End-to-end responsible for Customer deliveries. The Delivery Coordinator owns the delivery of the Customer order and is ultimately accountable for the delivery fulfilment end-to-end, the quality and timely delivery of the service.

Day to Day tasks;

  • Being first contact between clients and international operators and ensuring that required internal units receive their activities and tasks
  • Coordinate and plan with Roaming Partners to perform SCCP and LTE in order to facilitate new services thereby expanding our Roaming footprint
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Provide continuous status updates and feedback on deviating issues to customer
  • Ensure correct registration of all service components in support systems.
  • Co-ordination of field engineers throughout delivery process including testing and service activation
  • Ensuring configuration tasks are completed on time
  • Perform interconnection tests and troubleshooting
  • Send documentation according to Telia Carrier Delivery process to customer
  • Collect and store test protocols
  • Escalation of any issues that may affect the communicated RFS date
  • Manage Early Life support for delivered service.
  • Support Sales in customer meetings regarding delivery related questions

  • Good understanding in telecommunications’ technologies such as IP, VoIP, Mobile Data, Ethernet alongside knowledge in network build and design

Education

  • Post-secondary education/university degree is desirable

  • Experience of working to ITIL framework would be advantageous but not essential
