Gard is facing a growing number of regulatory requirements in our global marine insurance operations and are looking for a Compliance Executive to strengthen our Compliance & Quality Management team, part of the Group Risk function in Gard. The team is based in Arendal and has overall responsibility for group compliance, data protection, quality management, and information security and oversees Gard’s compliance with laws, regulations, and internal processes.
You will work with a wide variety of tasks across Group Risk’s areas of responsibility and will engage with all levels of the global organization. The Compliance Executive will report to the Group Compliance Officer.
In this role you will support and challenge the business functions on compliance related matters. Depending on your background and experience, the responsibilities may include:
Ideally we would like you to have a Bachelor’s degree in a law, business/audit, technical field or alternatively, relevant experience from consultancy, business development, internal audit, or project management. Strong written and oral communication skills in English is essential.
