What do we expect from you?

As a Project Manager, you will lead and deliver consulting projects that provide support to Swedish companies of all sizes and all industries in their international business development and expansion in Singapore. Projects typically involve market expansion, sales support, stakeholder analysis and/or operational support. You would also co-lead Business Sweden’s efforts as a co-lead of the Nordic Innovation House in Singapore.

You will be part of the business development team, engaging and driving client dialogues. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you'll prospect, and develop a customer book of business, while shaping differentiated value proposition for our clients. You will contribute in ensuring that we are seen as a trusted advisor, with a clear point of view relating to our clients’ most pressing challenges on the Singapore market. Client dialogues are expected to be carried out independently where you will conduct outreach, proposal development and closure.

Skills & Requirements

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a someone with business development and team leadership experience, both in consulting assignments and as a team Manager. As a person, we are looking for someone who is passionate, self-motivated, curious, and with a positive "can do attitude". Our teammates tend to have a soft spot for sustainability and making an impact.

Your experience requirements:

  • Background as a management consultant and relevant work experience for at least 6-7 Years

  • Master degree in Business, Administration and/or Engineering

  • Successful consulting projects sales and strong client service business acumen, with a proven track record developing and executing deals with deep customer insight, strong negotiation and closing skills

  • Leadership experience from leading teams and an interest in developing and growing talents

  • Interaction with external stakeholders, such as government, private sector, and/or academia

  • Self-motivated and accountable team player and leader

  • Thrive on working on multiple client dialogues and engagements at once, and seek out cross-functional engagement

  • Previous experience working with management consulting or other advisory services in Singapore and South East Asia is highly valued

  • A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English is a requirement

  • Knowledge of the Nordics, and proficiency in a Scandinavian language is a plus (while not required)
