Schibsted is a family of brands that consists of leading Nordic marketplaces, world-class media houses (we are the largest media group in Scandinavia), and digital companies that empower consumers. Data Foundations is a central team within Schibsted that is responsible for the data platform and building data-fueled products with an emphasis on volume, velocity, and privacy.
Our team within Data Foundations is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us in Oslo or Stockholm. You and the team will build and maintain our segmentation platform that empowers many use-cases in Schibsted such as advertising, producing insights about our customers, and personalization of news. Currently, our pipelines process around 950 million events per day, and the output of our models are used by the majority of the Schibsted brands.
We encourage a diverse, collaborative, and creative work environment, where you will develop and push for state-of-the-art solutions in big data processing as well as building reliable and highly scalable services.
Senior Product Manager - Segmentation
As a senior product manager in Data Foundations, you will be the lead product manager for the segmentation platform. You will be our advertising domain expert as well as being the lead product manager for all of our segmentation capabilities. This is an existing product, which supports the business with for example segmentation on demographics, location, interests, customs audience, and lookalikes. You will define our strategy and lead our execution.
The products are used by back and front end-engineers, as well as other PMs and EMs. Together you will create exceptional products that truly improve both the user experience for your end-users as well as enable Schibsted to become a data-driven company. You will also use your experience and communication skills to collaborate with the family of Schibsted brands, both by identifying and solving business problems. Your products will of course also comply with all related privacy legislation. This role will report to the Director of Product within the Data Foundations group in Schibsted.
