The Customer Services organization includes the Professional Services and Customer Support functions, and is made up of more than 550 Basware experts globally.

Professional Services, made up of Project Managers, Solution Architects, Solution and Technical Consultants and Success Services professionals, deliver customer implementation projects and provide services that help Basware customers adopt, optimize and accelerate the benefits of their Basware solutions and services. Customer Support provides professional help to our customers to manage operational and service issues that arise from using our services.

Customer Services draws on our collective expertise so that our customers realize the best possible business outcomes with Basware’s Networked Purchase-to-Pay solutions.

Basware’s Global Network Services organization drives and/or contributes to the delivery of cloud-based projects and high-quality e-invoicing and procurement products. Within this global team, we act as Network solution delivery experts in providing guidance to our customers and internal stakeholders.

At Basware, a Network Solution Consultant is a passionate, inquisitive and goal-oriented team player with a strong drive for customer success to build and deliver our first-class solutions for customers around the globe.

As part of this global implementation team, the consultant provides strong technical consulting and solution guidance for our Network services. In addition, this individual plays an important role in securing our customers’ success, working in close collaboration with regional project managers, our Product Management organization, R&D, Production and Support.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Implement Basware Network solutions in accordance with the project delivery lifecycle, quality guidelines and local/legal requirements.
  • Interface with the project team to drive the project implementation to successful closure.
  • Act as an implementation expert for both local projects and region/global rollouts.
  • Provide customers subject matter expertise on how to use our services most efficiently.
  • Learn, understand and master Basware’s products and portals from a technical point of view.
  • Drive technical project follow-up of your own portfolio for both customers and any internal stakeholders during all phases of the delivery lifecycle.
  • Secure customer engagement via effective communication and a proactive delivery approach.
  • Cooperate with internal stakeholders such as other delivery units, R&D, Product Management, etc. to assure timely and correct project deliveries.

Skills & Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • IT / Computer Science Bachelors or Masters degree.
  • Relevant experience in technical project delivery of software products and/or having a software engineering background is considered an advantage.
  • The ability to take on both a technical consulting and project coordinating role, with effective communication skills in both roles.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Quick learner with strong analytical and consulting skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, e-invoicing solutions and project delivery experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
