We already have a lot of features and products used by our clients and colleagues, but we need to accelerate on a few different domains, for instance:
frontend applications to a clean monorepository
Improve UX responsiveness
Build advanced react components for our design system
Continuously run tests to make sure the applications are as good as they can be
Experiment with new ideas by hacking quick prototypes
… and of course all developers are part of the product discussions. We think that it is important for people to have an impact.
Your mission @LinkFluence/Meltwater :
Work closely with the product team/other tech leads to define the objectives and the roadmap
Have a critical look on team’s technical decisions and ensure they’re made collectively
Be an evangelist for concepts such as : Separation of concerns, Inversion of control, TDD...
Identify potential risks and put in place solutions to mitigate them
Take part of the team’s daily work : product releases and frontend architecture improvement
Maintain, optimize and refactor the existing code base
Skills & Requirements
Shipped and maintained code in production
A solid background in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design)
Experience with React and Typescript
Good communication skills, works well within a team
Interest in full software development lifecycle activities: requirements management, technical design, implementation, testing/release, continuous integration (TDD is a plus)
Enthusiastic with UI / UX and use to work with Designers & UX team
