The Marketing team at Meltwater directly contributes to the business by engaging with existing clients and prospects to convert them as leads to generate sales. Supporting a fast growing team of media experts, we are constantly on the lookout for the latest trends and updates, staying ahead of the game and pushing boundaries. Our day to day includes not only connecting with the sales teams, but also data analysis and creating deliverables, and helping build engagement with our clients through field marketing and digital marketing.
About this role
As the digital marketing manager for APAC, you will have full responsibility for developing, executing and tracking the Go-To-Market plans and activities in this fast growing region. The role requires the ability to plan, organize, execute and measure marketing programs that generate increasing demand for new prospects and help advance existing opportunities in partnership with sales, field marketing managers and creative designers.
What you will be doing?
Strategise and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns that drive key business metrics (MQLs, SQLs, Opportunities) at different stages of the sales cycle.
Working with the region’s Field Marketing Managers to report APAC’s monthly numbers and sync with global reports.
Developing, managing and reporting on digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels — Google ads, LinkedIn ads etc.
Manage creative marketing material development (landing pages, ads, copy).
Develop campaign testing plans and requirements documentation, including flows, segmentation, and reporting; analyze results and provide recommendations.
Promote growth through new targeting and bidding improvements, using data to find new profitable segments, and testing into new platforms, channels, and ad units.
Cultivate a test-and-learn culture through your natural curiosity for experimentation and determination to drive performance.
Managing APAC’s SEO strategy and working with the Content Marketing Manager to ensure the website content aligns with the SEO strategy.
Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing programs.
Conduct digital audience research to inform which media channels and tactics to lean into, to reach target personas in a meaningful way
We would love to see…
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing or equivalent
3-5+ years’ experience in digital marketing (preferably with a B2B focus), with strong understanding of current trends, media, tools and best practices
Expertise in Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and social media advertising (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn) is a must. Experience with Marketo is a plus.
Experience managing PPC, SEO, Email marketing campaigns and Marketing automation programs
Experience working with Chinese digital channels (Baidu, Wechat etc) is a plus
Experience managing stakeholders across countries in APAC and globally is preferred
Passion for social media and media intelligence, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to quickly grasp technology concepts.
