In the role as Business insights Analyst, you are at the forefront of eCommerce with responsibility developing our Insights to improve our business. You are a key player to ensure that Pierce as a company is managing and interpreting data and leveraging it as a business asset.

In this role you will be responsible for much of the BI processes from ensuring data integrity to creating analysis dashboards to finally summarizing and interpreting the finding.

We have a state of the art technical solution in place based on Snowflake, Fivetran and Microsoft PowerBI which was recently implemented to form the foundation for the Analytics capabilities in the company.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and developing Data modelling in the Data Warehouse (Snowflake)

  • Creating and developing data queries using SQL

Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

  • Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner

  • Creating PowerBI dashboards to help understanding the business and help the business through selfservice dashboards to understand the performance

  • Communicate in clear and concisely results of analysis throughout the organisation

You will be working closely with representatives from all functions to ensure that the full power of data and analytics will be harnessed and activated beyond the Business Insights team. By developing capabilities to predict and automate decisions to be a best-in-class eCommerce company you will support business functions both to drive revenues as well as make the business more effective/efficient.

To be successful in the role we believe that you are commercially driven, possesses a strong drive for change and are an excellent collaborator/communicator with an idea of what Business Intelligence and Analytics can do in eCommerce

2005All started in a garage with two MX enthusiasts who wanted to change the shopping experience for their follow petrolheads.

2009Pierce AB began with the launch of 24MX by 4 employees. Initial focus was on selling parts and equipment to the Motocross world.

2013XLMOTO launched with a special focus on onroad motorcycle equipment. At this point a European wide presence was already built with the focus on bigger markets.

2013SledStore went live with pow passion and endless trails. SledStore is a Mecca for the Nordic snowmobile fanatics.

2016Our own European distribution center, PDC, opened their gates and storage racks to offer our customers an even bigger range, quicker deliveries and excellent service. Over time it's grown to almost 40,000 SQM - the size of six football pitches.

2018Pierce announced the acquisition of MotoBuykers, a Spanish e-commerce motorcycle player, to strengthen its footprint in southern Europe.

2019Pierce opened up for sales outside Europe on our global sites 24mx.com and xlmoto.com

2020Pierce was recognized as one of the three best eCommerce companies in Sweden with the nomination as 'D-Award' finalist.

2020Pierce rolled out a new state-of-the-art ecommerce platform to further strengthen the customer experience

2020Pierce received the Sweden’s Best Managed Companies recognition, sponsored by Deloitte in cooperation with Nasdaq

2021Pierce completed an IPO and listed its shares on Nasdaq Stockholm's main market.
