The Rud Pedersen Group is one of Europe’s largest Public Affairs and Communications consultancies. We are a fast growing, dynamic company that is expanding and developing our teams across Europe.

Our Group Affairs team supports the company with everything including leadership of the management team and Board of Directors, compliance and legal support, IT security, as well as inter-company events, trainings, internal and external branding and communications. While the team members are situated in different offices, they work closely together on a day-to-day basis. The team also collaborates with colleagues throughout the Group on a continuous basis.

We are seeking to strengthen the Group Affairs team by recruiting a team member who will support the Group with coordination – including events (both internally and externally) as well as taking a lead in cross office project management and supporting daily administration.

The job entails:

  • Preparing and conducting internal events, which can be physical, online or hybrid meetings for 5-70 participants
  • Increase knowledge sharing, best-practice, and alignment in the group regarding events.
  • Finding new ways to improve internal and external events and communication together with the rest of the team
  • Take responsibility for the cross-office administrative management regarding our sector teams, such as the healthcare team.
  • As the team is small, we need to be back up for each other when necessary, which could entail work with e.g. websites, social media or other administration that require attention at any given time

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with energy and initiative and is ready to work with a variety of tasks that support the current Group Affairs Team as well as the other teams across the Rud Pedersen Group.

The successful candidate will be expected to have strong experience in organising events and conferences (bonus if you have worked with events in PR or Public Affairs). It will also be important that you are confident in taking responsibility for administrative tasks. We think that the successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience.

Skills & Requirements

Need to have:

  • Prior experience in Event organisation, preferably within PR/Public Affairs or a political organisation.
  • High level/Native level of English as it is the daily work language of the Group office
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organisational and project management mentality (you must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities)
  • Permission to work in the EU

Nice to have:

  • Native speaker in a language of one of our local markets (Danish, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, or Swedish)
  • Professional experience with social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, as well as website tools such as WordPress

The new team member will be working from our office in Stockholm, and we hope for someone to start as soon as possible – interviews will be held on an ongoing basis.
