Sales business function is responsible for growing Basware's cloud revenue via new customer acquisition and by driving expansion within a satisfied customer base. Through customer-centric selling and collaborative account management we lead prospects & customers through the buying process with Basware, leveraging sales platforms including CRM, CPQ and CLM that support managing the sales cycle.

We are seeking highly motivated, achievement-driven sales associates to contribute to our double-digit growth, backed by the solid infrastructure of a world-class sales organization.

In the role of Senior Account Executive, your main aim is to sell Basware P2P SaaS services to prospects in one given industry sector in France (Industry/Manufacturing, Energy, Services, CPG). In this sales position, you will be working on C-Level and demonstrate the value of Basware. The main objective of this role is to identify, qualify and close opportunities within the assigned vertical.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify sales opportunities
  • Consult with C-level executives to develop an effective Basware value proposition tailored to each opportunity
  • Close business deals
  • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Maintain competitive knowledge & focus
  • Managing and developing the monthly rolling forecast as well as weekly revenue forecast processes.

Skills & Requirements

  • Preferably 5+ years’ experience in consultative sales, preferably experience in high technology (services, software or hardware)
  • Ability to prospect and management C-level and senior level relationship within medium and large organizations
  • Demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills in both French and English
  • Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers (C-level)
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
