We are looking for a passionate and seasoned Product Owner to join our Product Management organization and lead product development on a number of solutions focused on the Public Relations and Communications sector.
Meltwater believes that business strategy will be increasingly shaped by insights from the growing world of online data that lies outside the corporate firewall. We see customer needs for media continuing to evolve in the direction of new content formats, shortened delivery times and an explosion in outside-the-firewall content volume.
In support of this vision, the solutions we’re developing for our Public Relations and Communications customers enable them to keep their stakeholders informed of relevant information derived from billions of real-time editorial, blog, and social media conversations.
As the Product Owner responsible for these solutions you will have a direct impact on product direction, positioning, and ultimately delivery of customer value.

Understand and champion customer needs
Partner with stakeholders and balance trade-offs to maximize delivery of customer value
Maintain up-to-date roadmaps tailored to defined stakeholder groups
Ensure that development team understands both the customer and business impact of their deliverables
Drive the delivery of several PR and Communications-based applications including overseeing our Media Relations product as well as a number of applications focused on reporting, sharing and promoting media
Work closely with internal customers and the rest of the organization to define the vision and strategy for your product
Partner with an engineering manager, the development team, and UX team to prioritize, plan, design and deliver software that delights your customers
Work hand in hand with our top sales professionals to understand client needs and prioritize the best opportunities for your product
Help the team realize the value of their work and appreciate how their deliverables impact the business
Confidently represent your product both internally and externally; acting as a key evangelist and product expert for our global organization
Define, track, and interpret key metrics and drive activities that ensure successful adoption and a performant product.
2+ years of experience managing and developing software products as a PM/PO
Experience working in a B2B SaaS or enterprise business environment
Experience with agile scrum methodologies
Proven ability to understand complex business problems, apply strong analytical skills and create an effective strategy
Proven track record of delivering technical solutions for large-scale business problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate at varying levels of technical detail with all levels and types of internal stakeholders
Experience with product delivery to large enterprise and global customers
Experience building web application development tools, libraries, and/or frameworks focused on analytics, reporting and a customizable user experience
Understanding of micro-service architectures
Understanding of AWS, Cloud deployment methods and technologies
