From our Vienna office you will join Region EMEA, a key region within Business Sweden that operates from 19 local offices across Europe, Middle East and Africa. From Vienna, we cover Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Western Balkans, and Israel, though many projects span across the region.

Business Sweden works with leading multinational companies and start-ups across all industries and our clients’ business is often driven by digitalization, innovation and sustainability. Our consultancy services include e.g. market entry and growth strategies, market and stakeholder analysis, business partner- and target acquisitions and public affairs.

Our focus is to grow the advisory part of our business and to become even more relevant in most important business ecosystems to help propel the international growth of Swedish companies. To help drive this journey, we are currently looking for a Project Manager. You have a consulting profile and experience from leading sales, scoping, and delivering management consulting services related to commercial excellence and revenue growth.

What do we expect from you?

You will be part of a business development team, drive client dialogues, and insight-driven initiatives of new business opportunities. You will contribute to ensuring that we are perceived as a trusted advisor, with a clear point of view relating to our clients’ most pressing challenges in the EMEA markets.

As a Project Manager you have a key role in managing client relations. You will scope, lead, and deliver projects that provide support to leading Swedish companies in their international business development and expansion – in different markets in EMEA and globally. Collaboration within the organisation, with colleagues at different markets, as well as externally with clients and stakeholders is key.

Skills & Requirements

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, we believe you have;

  • a higher academic degree, probably a Master of Science in Business, Administration and/or Engineering.
  • a background as a management consultant and about 5-10 years of relevant work experience, having reached a project manager level
  • a great consulting toolbox and strong problem-solving ability across industries regardless of previous knowledge
  • experience from managing client relations at C-level
  • proven track record of managing projects and leading teams successfully
  • experience of successfully scoping client projects, and confidence in driving and supporting sales dialogues
  • a high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • proficiency in German and/or Swedish is meriting
  • international professional experience
  • knowledge in a functional consulting area or within an industry is valued and experience of the local markets in AT, CH, SEE, CEE & IL is a strong merit
