Northvolt Revolt has an exciting job offer for a Production manager to join our recycling team Revolt, going into production in Skellefteå.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. More importantly, you will be part of building the first in-house full recycling flow in the world.

The Production manager will be in charge of the entire recycling operation in Skellefteå. As leader of the unit you will have the opportunity to build a competent and dependable team from scracth, capable to scale Northvolt Revolt’s operations in Skellefteå (and potentially beyond). You will be in charge of setting up and executing the recycling plant reporting to the Director of Recycling Operation alternatively head of Revolt.

The production team will be key to commission and start the first shift of recycling in Skellefteå.

You will be working intimately with the entire Revolt team with process, project and logistics. Even more importantly, you will integrate in the overall Northvolt Ett Operation and team up with the local teams on site. Your job is to find a seamless collaboration on site to ensure that the recycling is efficiently and smoothly hooked up to the factory plants. In the planned set up, this means your day-to-day reporting line will also be to the Northvolt Ett management.

In general you have a long experience in the field and have been driving large, innovative and challenging plants with high demands on productivity and HSE-compliance.

Specifically, you have a deep understanding of working with materials as well as process industry.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Building an operation team in Skellefteå
  • Setting up a local management team
  • Diligently run the operation to meet production targets
  • Health, environment and safety

Skills & Requirements


  • A degree in Engineering/MSc or MBA/Relevant University Degree
  • 10+ years working experience in process industry operation
  • Track record of successul production achievements
  • Successful track record of scaling teams in a fast growing environment ideally in the process, mining or waste industry
  • Curious, technically educated and with a strong business background
  • Must have worked in multi-cultural environment
  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry is a plus

  • Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
