Job Scope
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Manager to be responsible for the overall leadership and development of the Accounts Receivable function and ensuring that the full Sales Order to Cash process is executed timely and accurately.
The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible driving continuous process improvement, establishing new processes and procedures with a strong emphasis on automating the order to cash process flow. The AR Manager will also be responsible for building and leading a team.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Identify, onboard, mentor, coach and develop team members to create and maintain an engaged, productive and experienced organization: performance measurement, skill assessment, training, and team building; align team goals and objectives to ensure Finance Team goals and SLA targets are met or exceeded.
- Lead month end close for Order to Cash value stream: coordinate activities for AR, review of journal entries, ensure all customer receipts are allocated against invoices, AR Aging reconciliations to balance sheet, explanations of any discrepancies and asses the need for bad debt provisions.

Define and oversee credit control procedures to ensure that any overdue debts are resolved in a timely manner and ensure that customers are clearing outstanding debts within their agreed terms.

Processing incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data until a team can be established.

Assist in implementing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and operational metrics to ensure team objectives are met; ensure transparency and sharing with stakeholders.

Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures, and policies; ensure policy and controls are enforced; make recommendations to improve, perform mitigating controls as required, and serve as the lead contact for internal and external audits in relation to AR.

Interact with management and other departments (in particular the sales team) for query resolution, obtaining approvals, and invoice processing.

Ensure that corporate policies are maintained within the accounts Receivable function.

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications/education/experience
- At least 3 years' experience in a management and/or supervisory role.
- Experience of working with medium to large companies is preferred.
- Experience of shared service centre is beneficial.
Specific skills
- High level of energy and enthusiasm to work in a fast moving business.
- Able to work both within a team and independently to drive issues to conclusion.
- Experience with mid tier ERP systems; Dynamics365 experience is preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong knowledge of Excel.
- Effective communication skills.
- Highly accurate and detail oriented.
- Business language of Northvolt is English. Swedish is a plus.
