Scope

  • The Informatica Analyst elaborates the technical analysis and design of the solution as defined by Architects; in such a way that the configuration or development can be implemented by the same Analyst or a Developer.

Communication and personality

  • English: must have
  • or French: must have

  • Strong human skills: good written and oral communication, problem-solving mindset, able to work independently, dynamic, etc.
  • Confident and not afraid of a new challenge

Skills

  • 2 years or more experienced and practical knowledge of Informatica-PowerCenter
  • Profound knowledge of SQL (writing SQL queries, performance-tuning)
  • Basics in performance tuning of ETL jobs
  • Data modelling (Logical and Physical)

  • Working knowledge of Informatica business usage modules:

  • business glossaries, terms, and policies to maintain standardized definitions of data assets in the organization.

  • data discovery to find the content, quality, and structure of data sources, and monitor data quality trends.

  • data integration logic and collaborate on projects to accelerate project delivery.

  • manage rules to verify data conformance to business policies.

  • review and resolve data quality issues to find and fix data quality issues in the organization.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Team player always ready to share, train or provide support to others.

  • Flexible, accurate & control minded.

  • Ability to turn advanced technical topics and industry jargon into easy-to-understand information.
