Work in a startup-like environment:
We work in autonomous, self-organizing teams called squads. The squads are cross-functional, including both tech-, product-, analytics- and UX competencies.
Every squad has the responsibility of delivering solutions of high quality, and you will enable them to do so by coaching, guiding and having a focus on our automated test suite. You thrive in a coaching role, and are motivated by making team decisions.
Besides working with a wide range of people with different responsibilities like software development, UX and business development, you will join our QA team overseeing all our platforms.
As a Software Quality Engineer you will have a bit of a hybrid role.
You will be working as a QA coach, talking quality to one or more product squads, and at the same time also help us as a team to build a wider awareness of E2E testing across all our platforms.
This includes expanding our existing test automation framework and improving the test coverage on our different platforms, for example via pair programming/testing sessions .
To achieve this, you will be working closely together with our QA team and your squad.
You are passionate about testing and Quality Assurance and take pride in your work, and sharing your test expertise with others. You like hands-on testing, but can also give the squad the trust and confidence to ensure the quality themselves.
We are looking for a team player who likes to work in a dynamic, fun and fast moving environment.
We expect that you:
Have a solid experience within the QA/Testing area, especially test prioritization based on risk level, test design and test techniques
Are familiar with test automation tools for websites, preferably with Selenium
Have good analytical skills and work systematically.
Have experience working with the test pyramide
Have an agile mindset
Can lead without authority
Are fluent in English, written and spoken
