As a Digital Solution Consultant, your job is to bridge the gap between client’s functional business requirements and the technology best suited to meet those needs. As an expert on the technology stack and architecture, you can navigate between our various platform offerings and be able to make the right recommendations based on pros and cons of the specific project.
The Digital Solution Consultant is part of the UX & Consulting team, and works closely with both business and technical people on the client side. Together with the rest of the team your job is to understand how clients work today, and recommend how to leverage the digital stack in order to meet – or exceed – their business objectives. You will be working closely with a team of digital strategists, UX-designers and online marketing specialists, but you will also liaise with project managers, system architects and developers.
The job consists of engaging in project pre-studies (Discovery), pre-sales, and ad-hoc client consulting assignments. In addition, you play an essential role in gathering and documenting technical and business requirements and defining and developing technical architectures that align with client business goals and objectives. The role focuses on the UK market, but you will also work on cases and with Vaimo clients in other countries.
Support sales in pre-sales meetings, project qualifications, and RFP responses
As part of the overall project discovery, lead the technical Discovery track together with platform-specific Subject-Matter experts – and make sure we meet both functional and architectural requirements
Design overall ecosystem architecture and deliver documentation based on as-is and to-be architecture, highlighting gaps and provide recommendations
Articulate the architectural vision both internally and to external clients, sponsors, and stakeholders
Staying up to date with technologies in our proximity and partner ecosystem
Continuously improve best practices for our solution consulting practice

In your role you will be a key player in many new client engagements and projects, enforcing a sharp focus on driving business value by technology, solution design, and the right tactics.
What you need to succeed:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience within digital commerce and/or e-commerce
Strategic thinker that can offer creative solutions and ideas that balance the needs of customers, technology and business
Excellent communication and presentation skills (English is a must, Swedish is great, and anything else is an added bonus!)
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Organised and attention to details
Other experience that would help:
Experience with digital and e-commerce platform implementation on agency or client-side
A personal interest of digital technologies, trends, and architectural principle
Retail and/or B2B experience
