HOW IT WORKS
Get Matched: Apply and get matched with a VFA startup partner in your area of interest.
Get Immersed: Spend 3 months in this role, during which you will be immersed in the local context, be connected to expert mentors, and get to understand market nuances.
Get Working: Work on real project deliverables for your assigned startups while being paid a stipend.
Get Hired: While full-time roles are not guaranteed, you are fast-tracked through ordinary application processes for available full-time roles with the startup post the fellowship

Sparkle is looking for a super-smart, ambitious, and incredibly analytical person with a proven track record of acquiring users and delivering growth for a high paced, fast-growing start-up.
As a Growth Marketing Fellow, you will be responsible for driving user growth enablement and engagement for Sparkle's financial and lifestyle app. You will build, track, and optimize campaigns across a variety of growth levers including push notifications, email, social media, SMS and more. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Content Marketing, Sales, Data, Product, Engineering and Customer Experience.
Manage digital marketing campaigns, monitor SEO and user engagement, build a content marketing strategy
Drive acquisition and growth across all digital channels including but not limited to search, social, display, video, email, affiliate
Lead and coordinate the launch of growth and enablement campaigns
Identify actionable growth opportunities and best practices to improve the opt-in funnel and onboarding performance
Collaborate with the Agency and Product Teams from the initial design phase to the testing of new features, product development and execution, to increase company KPIs around activation, engagement and retention of product lines
Develop dashboards and provide analysis and insights to cross-functional teams and partners on an ongoing basis. Present updates on strategy and results to leadership
Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain alignment on new growth opportunities
Make data-driven decisions and work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams
Reports to: CEO
5+ years working in advertising-supported, content-based business models, including deep experience in leading cross-functional working groups to drive towards a specific goal
Extensive experience of growth and performance marketing with a proven track record of scaling D2C brands, ideally within media/tech/e commerce/subscription categories
Understanding of full D2C marketing funnel experience (customer acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, win back) with a deep focus on performance-based growth marketing
Experience growing engagement for a specific product from launching, to ramping, to maintenance, to measurement, and a strong understanding of the entire software development and testing lifecycle
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use multiple data sources to develop hypotheses and execute rapid tests, and learn strategies
The ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Highly analytical with strong skills and judgment to break down challenging problems and come up with solutions
Previous successful experience in high-growth technology firms a plus
