Senior Artist

We are looking for a Senior Artist with good technical skills to join our talented Stockholm Studio to work on multiple projects. We are working on new IPs with full force and we also have a very committed team developing the hugely successful title Angry Birds 2 created in Stockholm, a game with a very passionate player base and over 1.5 million daily active users. This is your chance to take part in shaping the future of our projects and studio!

You need proven portfolio on your skills both in 2D and 3D, and you are also used to implementing your art in a game engine such as Unity or similar. For this position as a Senior Artist we are also looking for someone who can spearhead technical solutions and optimisations to find the balance between quality and efficiency. You will be an active project team member and responsible for delivering all your art in time and in good quality. You will be working closely to Executive Producer / Producer, other game artists as well as programmers and designers.

Skills & Requirements

You'll fit in our flock if you have:

  • Excellent vision of what great looks like, and an ability to communicate that vision
  • Ability to create great art on time
  • Well functional cross disciplinary language
  • Strong interest in games and gameplay (focus on F2P mobile games)
  • Holistic view on game making, caring about all parts to make the best whole for our fans
  • Passion for defining, managing and refining processes in art development
  • Experience on published games using a game engine such as Unity3D or similar
  • Great people skills and experience from leading smaller groups
  • You are a doer that make sure things are moving forward at all times
  • Excellent multitasking, organisational, communication, and team collaboration skills
  • Great ability to solve artistic and technical problems creatively through a wide combination of 2D and 3D software
  • Deeper knowledge of technical art implementation in Unity or similar
  • Passion for defining, managing and refining processes in art development
  • Experience on published games using a game engine such as Unity 3D or similar

We’d love you to have these feathers in your cap:

  • 5+ years of experience in the games industry, preferably in an international environment with a similar or equivalent job description
  • Proven artistic skills in 2D and 3D
  • Strong passion for games, shown in your portfolio
  • Enjoy spreading knowledge and fostering the knowledge creation
  • Eager to learn and apply new skills in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Open to feedback and enjoy working in a fast-paced, constantly iterating environment
  • Strong interest in data-driven approach to optimise art for games business performance
  • Collaborative and consensus driven approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent English
