As a staffing coordinator, you ensure that our projects are staffed with the most skilled people in tech, design and business you are likely to find.
You are responsible for placing people on our projects, answering staffing requests, and providing transparency on our current staffing progress, staffing decisions and unsuccessful attempts at staffing. Further, you create visibility for upcoming opportunities as well as our existing skill-set and people’s availability.
In your role, you work closely with our project managers (for concrete staffing needs), engagement leads (for longer-term potential needs), business development managers (for proposal and pitch staffing needs) and operations (for capacity/profitability transparency).
Receiving incoming staffing requests, ensuring their quality and completeness.
Creating a longlist/shortlist of suitable candidates and establishing initial contact.
Connecting staffing requesters to candidates, tracking conversations and outcomes.
Connecting people with availability (i.e. people “on the beach”) to relevant opportunities.
Balancing client preferences, candidate growth and individual situation with futurice business priorities.
Creating transparency on staffing decisions in progress and staffing decisions made.
Learning about project contexts, people profiles and suitable team combinations to continuously improve the quality and impact of our staffing process for all stakeholders.
Collaborating with competence experts/leads to incorporate tactic/strategic constraints, as well as resolve staffing conflicts.
Collaborating with Operations to provide transparency regarding capacities and profitability, and to identify the impact on top and bottom line.
Collaborating with HC to initiate staffing for new joiners.
Here are some practical things that would definitely help in this job
Previous experience in a Staffing Coordinator or similar role.
Understanding of staffing best practices, with the people at the centre.
Experience in designing and evaluating organisational processes.
A problem-solving mind and a strong ability to engage and enable others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
