Haglöfs AB is now recruiting a DTC Merchandise Manager to our head office in Alvik, Stockholm, Sweden.

As a DTC Merchandise Manager you will play an important part in contributing to Haglöfs’ continued success by being accountable for the planning, buying and allocating the Haglöfs assortment for all Direct to Consumer (DTC) channels (eCom, own Retail stores, Marketplaces) as well as consignment stock. You will also be responsible for managing the PIM (Product Information) team and processes.

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Drive the pre-season article planning & budgeting and steer in-season forecasting as well as trading decisions to meet stock turn and sell-thru requirements
  • In collaborating with Product, Marketing and Sales teams drive the assortment segmentation structure
  • Place internal assortment buy for all managed channels
  • Manage product information (PIM) team and processes
  • Develop, analyse and report on season performance, and communicate and act on insights
  • Facilitate regular in-season trading meetings with channel managers with data and insights
  • Responsible for effective flow of stock and assure product relevance in regular & outlet stores, adequate stock clearance and margin optimization
  • Ensure end of season stock management is optimised by effectively managing and driving the in-season replenishment
  • Work with IT and key members to design and develop leading merchandising and planning systems
  • Drive key merchandising projects to deliver excellence in the business processes

As DTC Merchandise Manager you will report directly the Head of Direct to Consumer

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of core merchandising, planning and buying experience in sports or fashion industry
  • Minimum bachelor degree in business administration, but preferred university degree in business administration – focus on merchandising or sales is a plus
  • Sound knowledge and experience with merchandize planning systems
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel or other analytics tools is a plus
  • Broad knowledge of DTC operations, supply planning and good knowledge of other business functions
  • Experience in leading and developing Teams - ensure organizational efficiency through effective motivation, training and development of the internal teams using prior experience in people management and foster strong relationships and team spirit
  • Good understanding of brand building and consumer engagement
  • Fluent in English, Swedish is a plus
