Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Supply Chain Technology Specialist to join our stellar team in Stockholm.

Northvolt was founded with the mission to drive the European transition to a clean, carbon-neutral energy future. Today, Northvolt is in the process of expanding our Västerås site (LABS) into the epicenter of European electrification, building our first gigafactories, establishing our recycling business (Revolt) and expanding our capabilities to deliver complete battery systems. In parallel to this, we are busy building a company we can all be proud about.

As Supply Chain Technology Specialist you have an important role to play in enabling scalability of our processes and supporting IT systems. The person we are looking for is strongly goal oriented, curious, and eager to learn. You will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story in Sweden (to start with) and see the results of your work. The Supply Chain Technology Specialist is a vital member of the Supply Chain team and key to Northvolt's mission to enable the future of energy. The role is based in Stockholm with monthly travel to be expected.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables include:

Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Technology & Sustainability Manager, the Supply Chain Technology Specialist is responsible for the following:

  • Define cross-functional syndicates and implements Supply Chain Processes, IT systems, tools, and related governance

  • Acts as a Product Owner for Supply Chain IT systems or modules and manages business requirement collection, backlog, roadmap and prioritization together with IT, external partners, and users

  • Drives cross-functional improvement initiatives (effectiveness & efficiency) of Supply Chain Processes and related IT system, tools, and governance

  • Contribute to the Supply Chain Master Data Management and related governance structures

Skills & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in business or engineering, preferably with focus on supply chain management

  • Minimum 3 years experience of working with supply chain processes or/and supply chain IT systems

  • Experience in enterprise applications, e.g., ERPs, Master Data Management solutions, S2P/P2P suites

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Great English, written and oral skills

Specific skills:

  • Expertise in business process management

  • Experience in the implementation of S2P/P2P processes and related solutions (ERP, S2P suites, eSourcing, eProcurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, Master Data Management Systems, etc.)

  • Knowledge of financial processes and related integration to Purchasing in special and Supply Chain Management in general
