Are you interested in helping Schibsted improve the collaboration between our brands and central teams?
We are seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative and structured person to join our central Data & Tech organisation as Project Manager. You will play a key role in enabling Schibsted’s data strategy through managing the rollout of shared components that underpin collaboration and data sharing across our brands. You’ll also be responsible for suggesting and implementing improvements to that process. To succeed with this you will have to work closely with senior management in the brands to understand their needs and help them prioritise what central initiatives to focus on.
The main product areas you will work with include User Foundations (Schibsted account, payment services, privacy services), Analytical Foundations (Common Data Warehouse Corporate Insights, Business Intelligence) and Data Foundations (Collection, Management and Activation of data). You will get to know each of these product areas and how they create value for our brands. Some of the Schibsted brands you will have the opportunity to work with include Finn, VG, Aftenposten in Norway and Blocket, Aftonbladet and Svenska Dagbladet in Sweden. Schibsted has an outspoken ambition to invest in new companies over the next months and years. This role will be critical in facilitating a smooth onboarding of these new companies into the Schibsted portfolio.
Through this work you will build a strong network across Schibsted, opening up for a lot of interesting opportunities down the line.
What you will do
Help our brands understand the products in our portfolio, including their individual and combined value
Coordinate the rollout of central components and initiatives that are key to enable data sharing across Schibsted
Suggest and implement improvements to the rollout process for central products/projects
Help management in our brands prioritize what centrally initiated projects/products to focus on, and in what order
Facilitate reporting towards senior management on progress of product rollouts
Help drive the design and and implementation of improved communication and collaboration between brands and central product teams
Who you are
You enjoy creating structure in ambiguous situations and designing effective processes
You have a consultative and service-oriented mindset
You have great interpersonal and communication skills, andhaving tough priority discussions sounds like an interesting challenge
You have experience in managing multiple stakeholders and projects
You are interested in learning about our brands and products and how they work
We believe you have 2+ years experience from project management, IT/Management consulting or similar roles
You bring energy and humor to the team, helping us to have fun
