About the Department: Delivery Services

Meltwater’s Delivery Services team is responsible for curating bespoke reports and managing key projects of our biggest clients. We deliver business-essential intelligence reports based on our keen analyses of various media outlets across traditional and social media channels.

We always strive to break new grounds, constantly focusing on solution-oriented approaches and at the same time developing every individual to his or her full capacity.

Role: Media Monitoring Intern – Chinese / Tamil / Malay language proficiency (2 to 4 months)

What You'll Do:

  • Translation of articles accurately into proficient English on a daily basis
  • Media monitoring (selecting and tagging news for newsletters)
  • Data cleaning and summary writing
  • Social media trawling
  • Broadcast monitoring
  • Use Meltwater platform to download searches

Who You Are:

  • Must have strong language proficiency in English and either Chinese, Malay, or Tamil (for reading, writing, and translation requirements)
  • Familiar with Google Sheets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, is proactive and team player
  • Pursuing or completed degree studies
  • Available to start work asap
  • Can commit for 2 to 4 months and wants a full time role as an analyst
  • Must be residing in Singapore
  • Preferably open to working some weekends

Other Information:

  • Monday to Friday: 1PM - 1AM - $15/hour, 4AM to 1PM - $20/hour

  • Saturday to Sunday: 1PM - 1AM - 20$/hour, 4AM to 1PM - 25$/hour

  • Working hours dependent on project teams (to be discussed)

  • Remote work arrangement unless otherwise stated

  • Successful interns may be offered a full-time permanent Media Analyst position upon graduation & completion of the internship, subject to performance
