We are now searching for an Omni channel Sales and Marketing Representative (East), to join our team. This position will report directly our Canadian Country Manager.

As an Omni Channel Sales Manager at Peak Performance you will be responsible for implementing and managing the company sales and distribution objectives within your territory to contribute to the long-term sustainable growth and overall success of the brand. Using the company’s resources, you will meet the individual needs of the wholesale & D2C channels to support and service the regional business.

The position is based out of your home office although could be up to 75% travel required.

Main tasks:

  • To acquire and develop a strong customer base with relevant specialty partners for Peak Performance in Eastern Canada.
  • Planning accordingly with targets and budgets provided by the Country Manager.
  • Close cooperation with our Customer Service team and warehouse facility in order to coordinate selling activities such as bookings and current available to sell orders.
  • Follow up with current customer base on marketing initiatives, territory activations and managing sell through.
  • Sales and marketing planning for Eastern Canada.
  • Prospecting according to distribution plan.
  • Creating a strategic segmentation for our Ski, Outdoor and Fashion collections.
  • Organize meetings & presentations with strategic and independent specialty partners to create dynamic sell in plans that are responsible and work with said partners to support sell through and in store representation.
  • Execute in store product knowledge sessions to educate our partners on our amazing products.
  • Support Activations, Marketing and sell in support for our local Franchise partner.
  • Manage samples and other marketing related items that will be provided through the Canadian Headquarters.
  • Responsible for maintaining regional showroom along with our office coordinator.

Knowledge Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of key metric levers and how to use them to create increased profitability and sales for both Peak Performance direct to consumer channels and its’ B2B partners.
  • Ability to apply financial data to make decisions and influence outcomes. This includes margins, retail math, forecast/projections, probability and statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, etc.
  • Ability to lay out practical and logical assortment plans based on retail space, inventory turn, and sell through
  • Ability to portray a confident and winning attitude in challenging business interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence outcomes with both internal and external contacts.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the sporting goods or related fields.
  • Excellent market knowledge of respective territory
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration and/or related support services.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing or marketing related support services
  • Retail background is welcome
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s license.
  • Strong communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to thrive in a team atmosphere.
  • Written and spoken level of French & English on negotiation level
  • Good MS office experience
