We are looking for a dedicated/experienced/driven Product Data Analyst to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent/bold/passionate Master Data Management team based in Stockholm. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing/ramping up data competencies and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job

The Product Data Analyst will positively impact Northvolt supporting the development and implementation of the enterprise’s product data (e.g. material, bill of material, bill of process, ...) strategy. The role will drive and operationalise the definition of processes, procedures, and standards necessary to ensure product master data is supported and delivered by IT applications (PLM, ERP, MES) to cross functional teams such as design, manufacturing and supply chain. As one of the first members of the Master Data Management team you will be able to influence and shape Northvolt’s product data structure, maintaining product master data with data quality and governance.

About the team

The Master Data Management team is small (for now!), and we are constantly looking for data-driven super starts with experience in Master Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Quality and, Data Governance. The team is based in Stockholm and short trips to our factories are required once in a while. The long-term goal for the team is to develop and support a data management framework in the Enterprise Information level.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement practical product master data strategies, plans, and solutions to identified issues
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement product data management standards, policies, and best practices
  • Measures and monitors data quality, designs, and executes remediation plans, maintains, and supports applicable data management rules
  • Responsible for designing data processes for product development and manufacturing

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • Academic degree in IT, Master of Science in Engineering, Industrialization or equivalent
  • 5+ years working experience in process and product development in the manufacturing environment
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
  • Experience with process design, implementation, and improvement

Bonus points for:

  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
  • Knowledge of Product Data Management, Product Information Management, Product Lifecycle Management or Enterprise Resource Planning systems
