Northvolt is establishing its first facility to industrialize and produce battery systems. In order to meet the increased demand for complete battery solutions on the European market, we are establishing a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions in Gdansk, Poland.

Currently we are looking for ECO Coordinator who will be a Control tower for design changes. ECO Coordinator will coordinate potential BOM updates with sourcing, procurement and engineering BOM management in ERP

Key responsibilities:

  • Review, Approve/Manage and Implement Change Orders and Change Requests
  • Responsible for initiation and/or execution of Engineering Change Orders. Change orders will include, but are not limited to purchasing, manufacturing and test documentation, configuration documentation, design history files and customer communication.
  • Drives and/or performs data entry in business systems to support ECO and transfer activity.
  • Provides guidance and advice on methods, procedures, standardization and requirements.
  • Define and create in MRP Bill of Material (BOM) on Product Specifications or other approved documentation.
  • Ensures accuracy by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorization and system updates. Compares new documentation with previous revision(s) for changes/discrepancies. Facilitates changes with process owners.
  • Determine appropriate collaborators based upon change order content.
  • Finalize documents for release (e. g. approve redlines)
  • Collaborate and communicate across departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness of change order activities.
  • Communicate with stakeholders when necessary to assure accurate implementation of specifications.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Technical education;
  • minimum 1 year of work experience in a production company;
  • professional experience in process engineering;
  • knowledge of Supply Chain processes;
  • Fluent English;
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an advantage

We are currently in an exciting fast-growing phase and operate in a dynamic environment, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. We are staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs in Västerås, as well as Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, in Gdansk, for production of battery systems. We are also preparing for upcoming positions at the main factory, Northvolt Ett, in Skellefteå.
