Gard is a leading company within marine insurance with offices around the world. Customer Transactions was established in Hong Kong in April 2019. Together with the Customer Transactions team at the headquarters in Arendal, Norway, our Customer Transactions Team delivers fast service with high quality to support the Underwriters in relation to Gard's customers in Asia.

You will be a key member of a vibrant and international team.

The role will have the following tasks:

  • Onboarding of customers
  • Entering and maintaining client and broker information
  • Entering and maintaining policy and premium data
  • Production and distribution of insurance and invoice documentation
  • KYC checks
  • Other administrative tasks in support of Underwriting
  • Responding to customer queries

Skills & Requirements

  • Preferable experience of administrative tasks and/or lean processes
  • Insurance industry experience (P&I & Marine) can be an advantage
  • A structured approach to work, with strong attention to detail
  • Quick to learn systems, procedures and build cross-functional competence
  • Self-motivated and a team player with improvement mindset
  • Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Positive and service-oriented
  • Good verbal and written ability in English
  • Good verbal and written ability in Mandarin
