Do you want to work on a game that puts the community at its core and has fun physics-inspired interactions? Alkali is a precision platformer currently in open alpha with about 10 hours of gameplay. You play as an alkaline metal that reacts explosively with water and other elements to traverse levels. The game has a built-in level editor to give a big emphasis on user generated content, and has a big focus on speedrunning through tight controls and advanced movement options. Your role at Sleipner Games
At Sleipner Games, you will be working with the full range of art and sprites for Alkali, including:
Animated object and character sprites
Static object and tile sprites
Level and menu backgrounds
Menu elements and icons
You will be working in a small team with highly motivated individuals. All team members are included in the design discussion, allowing you to influence the vision of the game.

Sleipner Games is an indie game studio currently focusing on a community centered platforming game. The team consists of two computer science master students that have worked on the game for over three years.
We are currently supported by KTH Innovation and part of a batch in the Pre-incubator program. The KTH Innovation Pre-incubator program is a 12 month program to accelerate the development of promising startup projects from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Startup projects receive extensive support from inhouse Business Development Coaches as well as additional support such as office space, community activities, access to industry, mentor and investor networks.
