In our product organization, our mission is to Make independent journalism thrive with products people love. In other words, we value free press highly and we want to make products that are appreciated by our users. To be appreciated by our users we need both engaging user experiences and content.
This is where you come in. For this specific role your users will foremost be our editorial colleagues; the journalist, editors and the content creators. You will be a part of a team that makes sure our news editorial staff in our different news brands can get their independent journalism to the news consumers.
We are looking for a designer with a visual design background that wants to be part of our team. You will be designing experiences together with your design, tech and product colleagues. Your main responsibility will be to evolve and maintain the design system and to deliver the UI for our tools that are used across the entire organization of Schibsted News. This is a position where your work impacts not only users inside media houses, but also millions of our readers - every day. You will be both part of cross-functional teams and a UX team. In the greater UX team and community within the News organization, we support each other, learn from each other, and get inspired together.
