Scandic Destination Nordkapp is looking for a Head Chef to give great experiences to our guests at Scandic Bryggen.
Food and beverage is an important part of any hotel stay, and every day our Team works to give our guests their very best. The Head Chef's responsibility is to esure that both guests and Team Members enjoy themseslves as well as enuring a sustainable business model.
The Head Chef has the general operations- and management responsibilities of the kitchen and pantry departments. The bosition is part administrative and part operational.

Since Scandic Destination Nordkapp is host to guests and Team Members from all over the world, we ask that all our coworkers can read and write English proficiently.
All our Team Members that are involved in food preperation must adhere th the highest standards for organization, hygiene, health, enviroment and safety procedures in the kitchen. You must also have good knowledge of catering to special dietary requirements and needs.
Other qualifications we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced and secure manager that is able to motivate and inspire their team. You should have the ability to work well in a team and contribute to a good work enviroment in your own team and on the rest of the Hotel. You are serviceminded and comfortable as a host. You are result orientated and see the economic side of your decicions, as well as professionally skilled and commited to deliveringing the highest quality.
For the right applicant We at Scandic Bryggen can offer an interesting and varied Head Chef position in a enjoyable and hectic work enviroment. You will get to work both independantly and as part of a team. The Head Chef is part of the Hotels management team and reports to the Operations Manager. If needed Scandic Destination Nordkapp can arrange lodging for the startup period.
