We are looking for a person with dedication, energy and drive that will increase our capacity in supporting D&T with setting priorities and goals, monitoring progress, facilitating cross-team collaboration, organizing cross-Schibsted forums and following up on strategic initiatives. Examples of initiatives and activities you will be involved in are:

  • the overarching strategy process in D&T, and the OKR process we use to operationalize it
  • shaping the agenda for two important group-wide collaboration arenas: the CTO forum and the CPO forum
  • the implementation of selected technology strategy streams, working closely with the Technology Strategy Lead and managers across Schibsted to coordinate and run defined activities, and report on status to top management.

In addition, you will have a special responsibility for Product & Tech Foundations, the unit in D&T that delivers strategic capabilities such as the identity service and the data platform to all business areas in Schibsted. Here you will work as an embedded member of the organisation to:

  • improve the quarterly planning processes, facilitate cross-team collaboration and follow up on dependencies across teams.
  • track cross-team KPIs to measure delivery on the objectives and goals
  • aggregate progress information, sharing results with the organization and upward to management
  • plan leadership team meetings and gatherings
  • establish cross-organization communication plans, e.g. planning All Hands meetings

Skills & Requirements

Skills and requirements

  • Higher educational background, preferably a university degree in the fields of business or technology
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience from working with business development and/or strategic planning
  • Experience with managing the OKR goal-setting framework a plus
  • Experience from developing material for CxO-level presentations, and presenting in management meetings
  • Experience from working in a multinational organization, navigating within large organisational structures
  • Ability to work independently but also work with and lead virtual teams. Project management skills as plus.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional fluency in English, knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a plus
