Business Sweden’s role is to help Swedish companies reach their full international potential and Business Sweden in Italy has been present in Milan since the 70’s – and has over the years built a strong and successful network of local business leaders and decision makers to promote Swedish competitiveness on the Italian market.

We are looking for a person who is eager to be part of developing our business in Italy and be an essential part of building our business in EMEA. As a person, you have a can-do attitude and love a challenge!

Our Business Incubation & Operations service is a toolbox of administrative services that facilitate Swedish companies’ establishment and growth in a new market. As a Business Support Specialist you will work within our Business Incubation and Operations (BI&O) area. You will handle administration and finance for our clients including; payroll, bookkeeping, invoicing, accounting analysis and other monthly support as required. You will also have a key role in supporting in the establishment process of new Swedish companies in Italy, as well as assisting with advice regarding basic tax practices. A key part of the role is communication with our clients and helping them resolve administrative issues. Identifying additional client needs and developing our offer and improving our operational efficiency related to business support services is also part of your responsibilities.

You will work independently and in teams but it will be your clear objective to manage your own project deliveries on budget, time and with excellent quality. The Business Support Specialist has a key role in the team and is to a certain extent involved in all types of projects that the team executes.

Skills & Requirements

Who are we looking for?

We believe you have:

  • Minimum Bachelors’ degree in business, finance, accounting or economics
  • Book-keeper license and prior experience from working with bookkeeping and/or accounting (preferably in an international setting)
  • Familiarity with the Italian tax system and experience of working with tax related advisory/support is highly meriting
  • Fluency in business English and Italian
  • Experience of using accounting software
  • Knowledge of company registration procedures (subsidiary, branch, rep-office) is a plus
  • Experience from working with international clients / firms in Italy is meriting
