Are you a driven documentation engineer that in your job want to contribute to societal difference? We are now looking for you who wants to be part of our team, and build one of Europe's first battery factories in Skellefteå that enables a greener future.

We are approaching the start of production at the end of the year, and as an facility documentation engineer you will have an essential role in the organization when you are an important part of the planning, implementing and maintaining of the infrastructure as well as equipment of the buildings and facilities.

As an Facility documentation engineer, the days are filled with varying tasks and problem solving, as you work close to the production and operational processes. We are looking for you who has great technical understanding within the facility area, to understand the documentation demand. We also think that you should have great project management skills, as you will perform analyses of the processes and recommend and implement documentation improvements.

This is the opportunity for you who likes to see things from a helicopter view, as well as being an essential part of the daily work in the production.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Gather, structure, and implement facility documentation in various IT system to make it user friendly.

  • Interface with construction, process, automation, and other departments to gather and structure the technical documentation needed to support the facility team.

  • Take the lead in developing and optimize facility documentation requirements.

  • Train others in documentation related topics.

  • Follow up on received documentation and implementation.

  • Assist other parties within maintenance with managing for example FBS structure and Asset management.

  • Be a key player in setting the structure for KPIs and visibility within maintenance.

  • Together with the rest of the team, being a key player to develop and maintain a safe work environment.

Skills & Requirements

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Great understanding of facility documentation and how to manage in large volumes.
  • Elementary computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Valuable (but not required) previous experience in maintenance or production, minimum 2 years.
  • Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish.

Specific characteristics (preferable but not required)

  • Technical understanding about facility, construction, mechanical, automation, hydraulic and pneumatic to understand documentation demand.

  • Proven skills in working with continuous improvements in industrial environment especially within maintenance.
