The Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Meltwater presents itself as a unique opportunity in an environment which puts people and culture front and centre. Your role is crucial as you are our partner in attracting, engaging, and hiring amazing talent to Meltwater, to make sure that Meltwater has the best and the brightest high-potential talent, to help our team take recruiting to a whole new level at Meltwater in Mainland China! You will sit in our Shanghai office and will collaborate cross-functionally with hiring managers directly in Mainland China. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager for Mainland China directly.
What you will be doing?
Manage the end-to-end process of non-sales hiring for Shanghai Office.
Partner closely with hiring managers to successfully build a robust pipeline of active and passive top talent through various channels, providing insights and advice through closing
Partner with hiring managers to align on the business objectives of the job, define the skills, traits, and qualifications that will make someone successful in the job, agree to the roles and responsibilities for the search, develop the job description and sourcing strategies.
Train hiring managers on interviewing best practices.
Keep all candidates well informed on Meltwater’s interview process and what they can expect from us.
Manage the entire offer process from setting hiring managers expectations to salary recommendations and offer generation
Establish relationships with candidates and hiring managers through timely, transparent, professional, and consistent communication and follow-up
Serve as a Meltwater ambassador in all facets of your role, representing our culture - ‘Moro’ (Fun), ‘Enere’ (Number One) and ‘Respekt’ (Respect), delivering a compelling view of our employer brand, as well as a pleasant and memorable candidate experience.
Plan and execute University and Industry recruiting events, job fairs and other recruiting strategies and track metrics to determine ROI.
Engage with university career services to identify key campus activities that will drive applicants.
Help plan and execute recruiting events, both in the office and off-site.
Work cross-functionally with hiring team, HR team and Technology team to seamlessly onboard new employees and ensure a fully integrated and immersive new hire on-boarding experience.
Managing and tracking candidates through their journey prior to hire through Greenhouse (ATS) and Google trackers, including scheduling hiring events and completing new hire paperwork.
Collaborate closely with business, marketing and recruitment manager to execute employment brand marketing plans.
Continually optimize and improve how we approach recruiting
Daily management of our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), the hiring trackers and ensure 100% data integrity
Skills & Requirements
What we would like to see from you
Bachelor’s degree or above.
0-1 years’ experience in HR industry especially in talent acquisition. Fresh graduates are also welcome!
An excellent communicator in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
Stakeholder management skills; proven experiences of managing and influencing senior stakeholders
A team player; adept at working with multiple people at any given time.
Incredibly organized, with superb attention to detail.
Creative, and process-driven: you’re constantly looking for ways to make things work more efficiently.
Passion for big data, and what it can do for businesses today
Well-versed in employment ordinance and regulations in China
Proficiency in MS Office/Google products
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus
