We are looking for experienced UX Designer to join our Product Design team at Schibsted Finland, where our most well known products are Oikotie, Tori and Rakentaja! In this role you would have an exciting opportunity to work with Finland’s leading marketplace brands that have millions of users monthly and over 50 million visits each month. What would you get to do?

As a UX Designer you will be responsible for end-to-end design of features and concepts of different Schibsted Finland products. You will be joining our growing Product Design team and work in close co-operation with the rest of our Product and Tech organisation to understand our customers’ needs and challenges thoroughly. You will contribute mostly to Oikotie Real Estate vertical.

Here are some examples of tasks you will work with:

  • Part of your daily work is to gather and analyse user insights with different methods as a part of product discovery.

  • You will explore new concepts and alternatives for user experience and validate designs by testing with mock-ups and prototypes with the end-users.

  • In your role, you constantly improve the solution by observing the usage of a launched product (analytics, ab testing, user feedback and iterative releases)

  • You share the learnings and review designs together with the stakeholders.

  • You will work as a part of an agile development team and make sure that your designs work in planned context and are implemented to high quality.

Skills & Requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • You feel at home with our values: win together, be curious and have courage.

  • You have already gained a lot of experience with UX/UI design (5+ years) and you have an eye for visual design and experience on working with design systems.

  • You have experience of end-to-end design, from shaping the big picture concepts to delivering pixel perfect designs for final user-facing products.

  • You are “service design savvy” meaning that you have the ability to gather and use data from different sources to understand the users and justify the design decisions. You are able to run design workshops with different stakeholders.

  • You have knowledge of modern design tools and techniques.

  • Your teamwork and co-operation skills are out of this world, since you will work with various teams and other stakeholders. Experience in working as part of an agile development team is seen as a strong plus!

  • You communicate fluently in English (written and spoken), since English is our official company language.
