Sales business function is responsible for growing Basware's cloud revenue via new customer acquisition and by driving expansion within a satisfied customer base. Through customer-centric selling and collaborative account management we lead prospects & customers through the buying process with Basware, leveraging sales platforms including CRM, CPQ and CLM that support managing the sales cycle.

As trusted advisors with industry and solution expertise we focus on providing value to our customers through advice and insight into best practices. In partnership with Marketing, Customer Services and Partners, we enable organizations to simplify operations, spend smarter and drive the transformation of their Finance & Procurement functions.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Sales and Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for driving end-to-end process excellence in sales and marketing operations, from demand generation through deal closure. Working closely with regional sales and marketing leadership this role is key in ensuring sales, marketing and business development teams are fully enabled through implementation of systems and technologies, analytics and reporting and governance processes, which drive continuous improvement. The role is based in Charlotte, NC, managing sales & marketing operations for our high performing team in North America, but also participating in global sales & marketing operations initiatives. The role reports directly into the global VP of Sales & Marketing Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and drive key sales and marketing governance processes including deal and lead reviews, pipeline reviews, forecasting and win-loss reviews.
  • Manage and support key sales process adherence, such as territory management, opportunity management, quoting and contracting.
  • Ensure that key learnings are gathered in a systematic way and implemented in the end-to-end sales and marketing processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive system adoption and improvement within marketing and sales (HubSpot, CRM, CPQ, CLM).
  • Manage and improve reporting and analytics to ensure the most relevant KPIs are visible and managed throughout the end-to-end process.
  • Analyze key KPIs and make recommendations to improve overall business performance.
  • Collaborate with other functions including sales enablement, global marketing and CS to ensure that sales and marketing teams are enabled with the right material, training and support to drive the best commercial outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of best practice within the sales process and identify and implement new procedures and processes to drive efficiency and scale.
  • Be the regional lead for key marketing and sales projects.
